Cancellation & Refunds

Last updated: 25 September 2026

This page explains how cancelling works and when you can get money back. It forms part of our Terms of Service. If you are a consumer, it does not affect your statutory rights.

1How to cancel

  • The workspace owner cancels from Billing in the console (https://admin.reccenet.com/billing) → Manage billing → Cancel. You can also email help@reccenet.com.
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, monthly or 12 months. You keep full access until then, and nothing further is charged.
  • You can change your mind and keep your Pack at any time before the period ends.
  • Your content stays in your workspace after the Pack ends. You can export it or ask us to delete it (see Account Deletion).

2The free trial

  • The 7-day free trial costs nothing. The first payment is taken on the morning of day 8, at about 08:00 UK time.
  • Cancel at any time before then and you will not be charged.
  • If you forget to cancel, you can still ask for a refund of that first payment within 14 days of starting the trial; see section 3.

3Your 14-day right to cancel (consumers)

If you buy an Individual Pack as a consumer (for purposes wholly or mainly outside your trade or profession), you have 14 days from the day you sign up to cancel for any reason under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

  • By starting a Pack, you ask us to begin providing the Service straight away, during those 14 days.
  • If you cancel within the 14 days, we refund what you have paid, minus a proportionate amount for any paid days you used before telling us. Free trial days are never charged.
  • Report Drive download packs are digital content supplied at once. By buying one, you agree that your 14-day right to cancel ends as soon as you make your first download. If you have not downloaded anything, you can cancel within 14 days for a full refund.
  • To cancel, email help@reccenet.com or use Billing in the console. A clear statement that you want to cancel is enough, and you do not have to give a reason.

4Refunds and credits

When you cancel after the first 14 days

We do not refund part-used monthly or 12-month periods; your Pack runs to the end of the period. This applies to Team Packs and to business customers generally.

Changes to your Pack

  • Upgrades are charged for the difference over the rest of the period. The unused part of your old Pack is credited against it, so you never pay twice.
  • Downgrades take effect at your next renewal, so there is nothing to refund.
  • Removing seats from a Team Pack gives a pro-rata credit on your account, used against future invoices.

Usage charges and add-ons

Charges for AI-assisted recces beyond your allowance, and Report Drive downloads you have used, are not refundable, except where the charge was our mistake.

When something is our fault

If you are charged in error, charged twice, or cannot use the Service for a significant time because of a problem on our side, we will put it right. That may mean a refund, a credit or extending your Pack, whichever is fair. Consumers may also have remedies under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

How refunds are paid

Refunds go back to the original payment method, normally within 14 days of our agreeing them. Your bank may take a few more days to show them.

5If a payment fails

We email the workspace owner and billing contact. If payment is not received within 3 days, access to the Pack’s features is restricted until it is; your content is kept. Paying the outstanding invoice restores access straight away.

6Questions

Email help@reccenet.com with your workspace name and the email address you use to sign in.
